How to choose rubber joints

Rubber joint is also called rubber hose flexible joint, flexible rubber joint, rubber flexible joint, bendable rubber joint, high pressure rubber joint, rubber shock absorber, compensator and so on. It is composed of inner and outer rubber, cord fabric layer and steel wire ring, which can reduce vibration and noise, and compensate for thermal expansion and contraction caused by temperature change.
1 . Make sure that the rubber joint is used in the equipment or device, and determine the working conditions of the product: applicable medium, working pressure, working temperature, etc.
2 . Determine the nominal diameter of the pipe connected with the rubber joint and the connection method: flange, thread, etc.
3 . Determine the material of the shell and flange parts of the selected rubber joint according to the medium, working pressure and temperature of the pipe: rubber, cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, etc.
4 . Select the type of rubber joint: double ball joint, single ball joint, reducer joint, threaded rubber joint, etc.
5 . Determine the geometric parameters of the selected rubber joint: length of the structure, form and size of the flange connection, size of the rubber joint in the height direction after opening and closing, size and number of connected bolt holes and overall size of the rubber joint.
