The space required for corrugated metal compensators is much smaller than L-shaped and п-shaped pipe compensators, and the inherent flexibility of corrugated metal compensators enables them to absorb displacement in more than one direction, providing special superiority for large-diameter pipelines with low operating pressures and restricted installation space.

This is the simplest kind of metal corrugated compensator, composed of a set of bellows, generally used to absorb axial displacement, can also absorb any combination of three displacements, the practicality is very large. 2：Compound metal corrugated compensator
Compound metal corrugated compensator consists of two single type metal corrugated compensator, can be used to absorb axial and lateral displacement. 3：Pressure balance type metal corrugated compensator
This kind of compensator can avoid the internal pressure thrust acting on the fixed bracket, machine pump or equipment. 4：Hinged metal corrugated compensator
The hinged metal corrugated compensator consists of a single type metal corrugated compensator on both sides plus a pair of hinges combined. This compensator is used to absorb the angular displacement of the plane and can withstand the pressure load. 5：Balance ring type corrugated metal compensator
Balance ring type corrugated metal compensator is composed of a single type corrugated metal compensator and two hinges connected to the same floating balance ring perpendicular to it, this compensator can be used in two groups jointly and can withstand the angular displacement in any direction.
