The performance of EPDM rubber itself is very superior, which is well reflected in high temperature resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, etc. The tensile deformation can reach more than 200%. But the disadvantage is that it can't contact with oil, such as gasoline, diesel, hydraulic oil, etc.. The seal will swell or be eroded if the medium contains oil tired substances. Therefore, it is widely used in drinking water treatment, sewage treatment, other seals, etc. that do not contain oil.
