Features Introduction to Stainless Steel 304

Stainless steel 304 is a very common stainless steel, the industry is also called 18/8 stainless steel. Its corrosion resistance is better than stainless steel 403, but the price is cheaper than stainless steel 316, so it is commonly used in daily life.

It is widely used in the production of good comprehensive performance (corrosion resistance and formability) equipment and parts. In order to keep the corrosion resistance of stainless steel, the steel must contain more than 16% of the chromium, more than 8% of the nickel content. 304 stainless steel is a grade of stainless steel produced in accordance with the United States ASTM standard . 304 is equivalent with the 0Cr18Ni9 stainless steel of China [according to 20878-2007 GB/T has been changed to 06Cr19Ni10].
