Notes for Rubber Joint Installation

 Rubber joint is also called rubber pipe flexible joint, flexible rubber joint, soft rubber joints, rubber joints,  rubber shock absorber, compensator. According to the connection type,It can be divided into loose flange type, fixed flange and screw type .According to the structure It can be divided into single ball, double ball, reducing body, bending sphere and wind pressure pipe . Rubber joint is composed by inner and outer layer of glue, ply and steel wire ring tubular rubber parts, the vulcanization molding and then with the metal flange or parallel connection sleeve assembly. This product can reduce vibration and noise, widely used in all kinds of pipeline system.

 
Notes:
1. According to the pipeline working pressure, connection mode, medium and the amount of compensation to choose the proper type, choosing its quantity according to the noise reduction displacement requirements.
 
2. When the pipeline produces transient pressure and greater than the working pressure shall be made higher than the joint working pressure of a gear. (such as: pipeline startup pressure > 1.0MPa, should be used for 1.6MPa joint. Transient pressure: 1.6MPa, 2.5MPa) joints should be used.
 
3. When the pipeline medium are pH, oil, high temperature and other special materials ,the working pressure should be higher than of pipeline joints on a gear.
 
4. The  connecting rubber joint flange is the valve flange or with GB/T9115.1 (RF) flange.
 
5. Flexible rubber joint normal suitable medium is water temperature 0-60 ℃ in the ordinary, extraordinary medium such as: oil, acid, high temperature and other corrosive and hard case, should use special refractory material of rubber joints corresponding, not blindly string or general.
 
6. Flexible rubber joint used in the outlet of the pump, water pump shall be located in one side, the installation of metal reducing joint and water pump, and is installed in the large diameter at variable.
 
7. When the maximum amount of compensation pipeline displacement ≥ joint, joint number should increase to parallel displacement, is strictly prohibited in order to adjust the pipeline ultra poor, so that the joint is in the limit of bending displacement and deviation state, but not excessive (expansion, displacement, deflection), using a specific installation data shown in the table below.
 
8. High-rise water supply or suspended water supply, pipe should be fixed in the bracket, bracket or anchor frame, and not allow joint weight and axial force of pipeline, otherwise the joints shall be equipped with anti slip device (its bearing must be greater than the Dow Zhou Xiangli).
 
9. Installation of rubber joints, bolt should be toward the joint outer, tighten the bolt flange end face of each diagonal compression of repeated uniform, to prevent the pressure deviation. Wire joint should use standard wrench tighten evenly, do not use the reinforcing bar afterburner make joint sliding wire, gliding and fracture, and regularly check, so as not to loose off the disk or seepage.
