High Temperature Resistant Rubber Joint Material

High temperature resistant rubber joints can work under high temperature. Different rubber materials are suitable for different applications. Here is a brief introduction of differet materials and characteristics.

Natural rubber (NR): very good adhesion ability can be fully integrated with other rubber material. But the critical high temperature is +80℃, so this material is not so suitable for high temperature pipelines.

Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Monomer rubber (EPDM): good resistance to high temperature and acid alkali. So it is preferred comprehensive material for pipe joints. The critical high temperature for EPDM is +110℃, not very high.

Fluororubber (FKM): excellent high temperature resistance, can reach up to 180 ℃ superhigh temperature. FKM also has good resistant to acid and alkali, much better than other rubber material.

So please choose suitable high-resistant rubber joints by working temperatures and processing mediums.
