2. In the case of long heat pipeline, it is necessary to install the moment type compensator to reduce the 'heat rise and cold shrinkage' on the pipeline stretch.
Moment type compensator is mainly used to compensate axial displacement, can also compensate transverse displacement or axial and transverse synthetic displacement, has the ability to compensate angular displacement, but generally not apply it to compensate angular displacement.
Moment type compensator consists of a bellows and two end receiver, the end receiver or directly welded with the pipe, or welded on the flange and then connected with the pipe flange.
The tie rod of the moment type compensator is mainly a rigid support during transportation or as a product to deformation adjustment, it is not a load-bearing member. The structure of this type of corrugated expansion joint is simple, so it is preferred.
