1. When flexible rubber joint is used in the import and export of pump, it should be located near the water pump, and metal variable diameter joint should be installed between the pumps at the place of large caliber.

2. Normal applicable medium of rubber joint is normal water temperature from 0 to 60 ℃. Under the circumstance of special medium, such as oil, acid and alkali, high temperature and corrosion resistance and other hard cases, corresponding resistant materials of rubber joints should be chosen, do notblindly use.  

3. When installing rubber joint, screw of bolt should be extended to the outside of the joint, bolts of each end of the flange should be tighten according to the method of diagonal compression repeatedly evenly, prevent partial pressure. Threaded joint should be tighten using standard wrench by uniform force, do not use a torque rod strength and make the union slippery silk, smooth edges and fracture, and periodically check, lest cause off or loose water.

4. When the displacement of joint is greater or equal to the maximal amount of compensation, please increase the number of joint to parallel displacement. It is strictly prohibited to adjust the pipeline super bad and make the joint in the limit state of flexure displacement and deviation, more not in excess of the limit (telescopic, displacement, deflection, etc.).

5. Using or storage of rubber joint should avoid high temperature, ozone, oil, acid and alkali environment. When used in the pipe outdoor or exposed to sunshine or wind, sunshade frame should be built, not to be insolated, rained and wind erosion. It is forbidden to paint and winding insulation on the surface of joint. Because of rubber aging problems, rubber joints should be timely checked and replaced.
