Service Life and Aging of Flexible Rubber Joint
Physicochemical property and mechanical capacity of rubber products will be changed gradually in
manufacturing and using, until being useless. This change is also know as rubber aging, the surface
will become cracked, tacky, hardened, pulverized, discolored, moldy, etc.
All flexible rubber joints have certain service life. Rubber joints made by Gongyi HuanZhong Pipeline
Equipment are designed for 3 years. Application under pressure and oxidation are important factors
to affect the service life. So check the rubber joints regularly during use, maintain and replace
which are already beyond service life and badly-aged rubber joints.
