What are the installation requirements of the square compensator?
Square compensator is commonly known as the natural compensator. This product is generally "‖ shaped‖ welded or pressed steel pipe, relying on the bending of the steel pipe to compensate for the displacement of the pipe. This product is a tube boiling, smaller can be a tube boiling, larger can be divided into two or three tubes boiling. The main role of the square compensator is to compensate for the thermal deformation of the pipeline. Square compensator is mostly used to cross the structure expansion joints, seismic joints, settlement joints of the pipeline laying compensation.
 
The installation of the square compensator is divided into two kinds, one is installed on the vertical pipeline, and the other is the square compensator installed on the horizontal pipeline. First of all, the former installation: this kind of compensation installed on the vertical pipeline, usually to solve the uneven settlement of the foundation and set. Its installation position is preferably chosen between the ground and the rising riser valve. Its main purpose is not only to meet the displacement compensation caused by uneven settlement, but also to avoid damage to the riser valve from uneven settlement of the foundation. In this case, the installation position of the rising riser valve will be raised, causing inconvenience to the rising pipe valve operation, but other methods such as building a valve operation platform can be used to solve. Its fixed bracket should be set between the bottom of the valve and the compensator. Another way to install the square compensator on the horizontal pipeline is usually when the gas pipeline passes through the structural expansion joint of the rooftop (or podium roof).
Its installation position should generally meet the following conditions:
1 . Compensator plane should be in the same plane with the straight pipe section.
2 . Compensator center should be in the same vertical line with the expansion joint centerline.
3 . Square compensator should be set up on both sides of the fixed bracket. The location and form of the bracket is selected by the design.
