1. After the arrival of compensator, the following content should be carried out for unpacking check.
a. Documentation: Check whether the compensator panels and the type, specification and technical parameters listed on the certificate of approval are consistent with the order contracts and whether other affiliated technical documents required are complete.
b. Appearance inspection: compensator without obvious scratch or sharp indentation; Compensator interior (trough) should be no foreign body; End connections shall be in good condition, flange connecting sealing surface should be no scars, coating without peeling, cracking and flaking, big rod, transportation rod, tie rod and fasteners should be complete.
2. Compensator hoisting and transportation considerations:
a. When hoisting should use the special tooling or lifting lug, and transportation rod as the bearing parts is strictly prohibited. Compensator without lifting lug small-bore is available to use rope tied on the takeover due to its light weight.
b. In the process of transportation and storage, prevent water immersion and the corrosion of harmful gases.
c. In the process of transportation and storage, prevent fall and collision, do not pile up together with other items, so as not to damage the bellows bruised.
d. Bind firmly in the process of transportation to prevent turning and rolling.
