There is skill for installing corrugated compensator and it needs to have skilled operation technology and detailed understanding of the performance and structure of the corrugated compensator to achieve proficiency level. Corrugated compensator connection methods are flange connection and welding connection. Directly buried pipeline compensator generally adopts welding connection (except trench installation).
Corrugated compensator installation requirements:
Before installing compensator, should check its type, specification and pipeline configuration, which must comply with the design requirements; when installation should pay attention to ensure that the direction of the guide sleeve are consistent with the direction of flow, and hinge rotation plane of hinge compensator should be consistent with the rotational plane displacement. It is forbidden to use corrugated compensator deformation method to adjust the pipeline installation error, so as not to affect the normal function of the compensator, reduce the service life and increase the load of piping, equipment and supporting components.
