Overview

 Bellow adopt single layer, double layer or multi-layer U type waves, bellow and cover material is 1Cr18Ni9Ti  austenitic stainless, other material is low carbon steel or low alloy steel.

Metal bellows expansion joints (also called compensators) are compensating elements for thermal expansion and relative movement in pipelines, containers and machines. They consist of one or more metal bellows, connectors at both ends, and tie rods that depend on the application. They are differentiated according to the three basic types of movement: axial, angular and lateral expansion joints.

In modern Metal expansion Bellow, It is often produced with a so-called multi-ply design. To increase both flexibility and stability, multiple thin plies of metal are layered to form the bellow walls. There are two basic design types: The multi-ply and the multi-walled bellows structure.

Characteristics:
 
1.Except for close to fixed bracket, also need three guide bracket between each fixed bracket.
 
2.Can be used in overhead pipeline, underground laying pipeline, also can be used in direct buries laying, compensator should equipped with inspection well or darkroom.
 
3.Used in axial compensation, has large compensation and strong self-steering and bending resistance ability.
 
4. Economy: Compared with the systems of mechanic stretching and material damping, it has the advantages of little space covering, light weight, easy assembly and disassembly, labor saving and low cost. Its smooth inner wall can reduce flow resistance. It has good water tightness, so there is no need of gasket during the installation. It has wide application, large temperature-resistance scope and long working life
